If your crush called you out of the blue and invited you to join them on vacation in another city, would you grab the next flight out?

Our friendship begins in Denver, Colorado, when we met at a cozy little bar called Roosevelt’s. Ohm had a total crush on Isi and invited her over for a homemade, four course Thai dinner. Caitlin warned Isi that she was going on a date but both of us still insist to this day that it was completely platonic.

After some friendly swerving on Isi’s part, Ohm would remain in the friend zone for several months – until Isi spontaneously invited Ohm to Cincinnati where she was visiting Diana. That’s where they had their first kiss and where things really began to click. Fast forward a few years, and they now call Lexington, Kentucky home. Isi is pursuing her Master of Science in Cosmetic Science, and she’s still not entirely sure what Ohm does for a living. All she knows is that he still rocks the orange and white in the sea of blue.

On a trip back to Denver for Joe and Sophia’s wedding, Ohm finally proposed to Isi with the help of their friend Jeremy (warning: the video contains explicit language). Ohm wanted to begin their engagement in Colorado where their friendship had begun.
